I bought this extension on July 5th to replace Version 1. When I tried to install it, I got a message box stating that it could only be installed in a max version of 15 of DW. So I sent an email asking for a refund since it seemed to not work.....got no response. Since then, i discovered the solution outlined in www.dmxzone.com/support/22961/topic/60762/ and followed those instructions. When I reached "install anyway" and clicked "OK" I got a message box saying that there was a corrupt .XML file - I installed the extension through your extension manager so it handled the download. This was not the first time that I saw this message (corrupt XML file). It happens on a number of the extensions that I had installed in CC 2014. If this extension does not work, I would like a refund (as I asked for in the 2 emails that I have already sent to you)

Hello,
the extension IS fully cc2015 compatible.
If you see an error message saying that a xml file is corrupted then ... some of the DW xml files is corrupted and the installation cannot continue.
Please provide the exact error message that you see so we can which of the xml files is corrupted.

The file that is being complained about is insertbar.xml. The exact text of the error message is:

Error Installing Extension
The file insertbar.xml is corrupted.

Then please go to:

For Windows:
C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CC 2015\en_US\Configuration\Objects

For MAC:
MAC: MacHD : Users : <username> : Library : Application Support : Adobe : Dreamweaver CC 2015 : en_US : Configuration : Objects

And send the insertbar.xml to so i can check what is corrupted inside the file.

Well ... your insertbar.xml is not only corrupted but it is EMPTY ... that's why the extension(s) cannot be installed.
Please reinstall your Dreamweaver, so it can recreate this file.

Thanks for your suggestion, Teodor. I uninstalled DW through Creative Cloud's interface and reinstalled it. That did not fix the problem. Then I decided to first UNINSTALL all extensions, then through the control panel UNINSTALLED the extension manager (i found two versions of the extension manager installed) and then UNINSTALL DW (I removed all user preferences this time) and then I reinstalled DW, then reinstalled the extension manager and finally reinstalled all extensions. They now appear in the insert window. Thanks for your help.
