I am following the manual and I don't see the page that contains the bootstrap 3 container. How do I start with that page? This could be our issue.

How to do it
1. Our page contains a Bootstrap 3 container. Inside the container we want to place the HTML5
Slideshow 2. Click inside the container (1) and from the insert panel (2) select HTML5 Slideshow 2 (3).

Hi William,
Please reinstall the extension using dmxzone extension manager - this will fix your issue.
Hi Gilbert, it does not matter if you are using the bootstrap framework or not. This can be ANY container/div on your page, it is just an example.

Hi Gilbert,
If you see such an error message, then you've installed the HTML5 Slideshow 2 using ADOBE Extension Manager.
Please just reinstall it using DMXzone Extension Manager.

Unfortunately we cannot recreate this error on our machines. We've tested this extension once again on CS6 and it works just fine.
We recommend a fresh clean install of your DW, until you reinstall it, you can turn the resize option off.

how do you turn the resize off? If I do one image or a whole folder the image resize is required, plus defeats the point of responsive, no?

Well, the resize images option is just valid when importing the images into the slideshow... it has nothing to do with the reponsiveness. You can turn it of by unchecking it:

I did not meet my deadline and quite frankly unhappy with the first experience in using this product. I am still hopeful that I can figure out the issues because I want to move our company to do more HTML 5 based slideshows. Remaining patient.

Any chance I can try DMXzone Nivo Slider 3 instead of this extension? I want to see if its my CS6 and permissions on my pc versus a slider that is using the DMXzone Resizer 2.

Hello Gilbert,
We do not provide any trial versions of our products.
Both HTML5 Slideshow 2 and DMXzone Nivo Slider 3 have already been tested and confirmed to be working fine on CS6.

It's been 8 months and we still do not have a resolution to this problem. I am seriously disappointed, That I've wasted $44 on an extension that does not work and that is apparently not being supported.

Hello Douglas,
This error has been fixed more than 8 months ago.
If you see this message, then you did not install the extension, using the DMXzone Extension Manager. Please only use DMXzone Extension Manager in order to install your extensions. Not only Adobe discontinued support of Adobe EM, but it is full of bugs.
