In Dreamweaver my setup contains a Testing server and an External server.

All the php-files are working fine on the Testing server (localhost) so I like to upload all files to the External server.
Do I have to change the DMXzone Database Connection from localhost to the IP address of the External server or is there a way to use two different connections?

In the current version there is no option to define multiple database connections.
In order to connect to your remote server - define your DW site remote and testing servers to point to it, and then change the database connection properties.
