Email forms have stopped working on my website. I've set up a basic test form with just a submit button and an alert 'on error' and it's failing to send when I click on the send button.

Hi Bruce,
It seems your servers have been upgraded to PHP 7.3, so a deprecation error appears in one of the PHP files.
We are going to update the mailer component today, with a fix included.

Thanks for the quick response. I have a facility through my host to change the PHP version to earlier version so have changed it back to 7.3 for now until the update/fix is ready.

Bit concerned they upgraded without letting me know, but I’ll take that up with their customer services.

Hi Bruce,
Please update the Mailer extension to the latest version, and just open and save your server action. It will generate new files locally, so just upload them - the errors are now fixed.

Just wanted to check something before I do that.

You emailed me over a fix a few weeks back for a problem with selecting HTML format for the body text of email, resulting in the form being disabled (your email's ticket ref: 3288).

Does this update to the Mailer extension contain that fix as well? Just don't want to accidentally over-write the previous fix

This update won't alter the content of your mail body. It will just add some updated PHP files inthe dmxConnectLib folder.
