Hi,

I trying to connect to an RDS on my Amazon Web Services account.

I can connect using two utilities, MySQL Workbench and dbForge Query Builder for MySQL but unfortunately DMZone server connect comes up with the following error:

Error using this Database Connection!

Server Response: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2054] Server sent charset unknown to the client. Please, report to developers

If you can let me know what this means please and any help guides you have on using AWS remote databases.

That's not supported in Server Connect for Dreamweaver.
You can use Wappler instead, it offers all the options required to connect to Amazon RDS. Server side tools in Wappler are far more advanced than the DW version.
