I get this question a lot from clients...
Like placing a profile image on Facebook or LinkedIn, there's the possibility to crop or center the image. Would be great to have this in the next release.
Or make it a new extension. Even better!

This might be a little off-topic but still connected with the above.
I noticed some systems which store files in a database as BLOB. I think its nothing new but I think this would solve this crazy problem with directory structures if the testing server has a different layout than the live server.
