Are you using static checkboxes/radio buttons or are they dynamic?

Unfortunately that video is not a lot of help when using the bootstrap form builder and new database connector.

Well it does not matter if it is a bootstrap form or not ... Also - as i explained the concept is the same - it doesn't matter if your datasource is 'new' or 'old' just bind those values in the detail region / detail page, using the formatter - data-binding-checked="SomeValue" ...
