Seems that the new APP Data extensions cannot co-exsist on the same site/page as a Data Bindings extension so there is no way to set up a log in like in the Security Provider extension with Data Bindings?

Since sites can't use the Data Bindings and App Connect extensions is there a timeline on when all the features we can do with Data Bindings will be available? Starting a new project and would like to use the newest stuff but can't because it doesn't support other stuff I need that is available in Data Bindings.

Hello Brad,
You cannot use HTML5 Data Bindings and App Connect on the same page.
Of course you can log in with Security Provider, the security is being set up in Server Connect actions, so there is no issue with that. What exactly is wrong with setting up security on your page?

I always get the Data Bindings already exists on the page. Can we at least get a list of what extensions do work with the new Data App extensions and what extensions they replace?

It's getting out of hand on what extensions can be used with what.

App Connect cannot be used on the same page with Data Bindings. It cannot be applied on existing pages built with Data Bindings.

Yes, that is my point. So there is no use in even starting a new site with the App Data extensions or even purchasing them until you can do everything you can do with Data Bindings? Unless you are saying that all of the extensions that work with Data Bindings will work with APP Data Connect?

Of course you can start building a site with app connect and you can do everything with it, that you can with HTML5 Data Bindings.
There are a few things like Paging or Table Generators which are not yet compatible but they are not a deal breaker, as you could do this manually anyway, and these tools will be updated in the next few weeks.

I would have to disagree that paging is not a deal breaker. When dealing with data that could have a few thousand records not being able to set up paging is a big deal.

You can create paging buttons manually, and this has been shown in the tutorials already. I am locking this topic, as you post the same things in two topics.
