Hello,
I've installed the new version of Dreamweaver (2017.5) and now is return back the old problem about Remote Server Connect Action, as posted here:
www.dmxzone.com/support/32763/topic/61681

If I try to set a server connection with a remote server, I receive this popup dreamweaver error message:
"Server Action file "file:///Macintosh HD/.../dmxConnect/api/....php" cannot be found.

The url in the page is correct but your system not recognise the http parameter and search the connection in the local system:
<dmx-serverconnect id="serverconnect1" url="http://url/dmxConnect/api/....php" site="NAME"></dmx-serverconnect>

This is the message that I had received from Teodor about the old problem:
QuoteHi Michele, we've found the problem but there is not really a problem with the generated code. It is DW which is looking into the wrong place, and that's why the popup is showing, when you click the server connect component. This will be improved in the Server Connect and App Connect updates tomorrow.

Last thing, none of the latest extensions are updated, for example:
App Connect remain to the 1.1.3 (instead of 1.1.5)
Browser remain to the 1.0.0 (instead of 1.0.1)

I'm using a Mac (latest OS version).

Michele,

You should be really using the latest versions of the extensions. There shouldn't be any problems with them.

Greetings,
George

Hi George,
I've tried all the way but nothing, not works, always the popup error with the wrong local path.

I've uninstalled all the extensions, reset the preferences of Dreamweaver but nothing happened.
Also, I 've tried to install on another version of Dreamweaver (2015) but same problem.

Other thing... now when I open a page with your extensions configured, also if I change nothing (only open the page) is necessary to save it when I exit because your system automatically move the code in the head (maybe to check the correct order/priority)... it's very frustrating because I need every time to check if the page still works good or if delete something... this behaviour is present only from the last your update extensions.

Having an urgent need to be able to work, can you resume previous versions of your extensions?
If yes, where can I download them?
Thanks

Fortunately I use a Mac and I've restored from a backup the previous versions and now it works again.
Now the versions installed are:
App Connect (1.1.4 in the extension manager, 1.1.3 in the script "dmxAppConnect.js " )
Server Connect (1.4.7 in the extension manager)

Also, now not change the code when I open the page.
However, please resolve the problem because now I don't have the possibility to use your new extensions (as the Medium Editor).

Other problem, now it's impossible to find the data in the recordset from the panel (usually is present an arrow with the possibility to choice the specific data filed):

Michele,

I kind of lost track - are you with the old versions or new versions of the extensions?

Could you send me the app connect log files

dmx_log.txt and dmx_pickup_log.txt

from the folder on your mac:

~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver CC 2017/en_US/Configuration/Shared/DMXzone/dmxAppConnect/

mail to

Greetings,
George
