I have been trying to get the behaviour shown in bunchoblokes.org/Teodor.html using App Connect. Every time I add Input Parameters to the second Server Connect, the application bombs out.

could you please explain what exactly you are trying to achieve and what exactly do you mean by: "the application bombs out. "?

The process is the same as the 'old' method except that I try to use App Connect.

I have two tables called DiscussionSeries (Categories) and Discussions (Products). I want to list DiscussionSeries to then show the Discussions when a DiscussionSeries item is clicked.

I follow Data Detail Video and place a hidden text field containing the value of the DiscussionSeriesID in the detail area.

I then follow Filtering a Query with Text Input to show the Discussions for the ID shown in the hidden text field. Showing unfiltered discussions is no problem, but the moment that I enter and save the Input Parameter (05:06 min into the video), the data sources no longer work.

What exactly do you want to achieve as your explanation confuses me.

I want master/detail areas from one table and show the results from an associated table.

For example, click on 2014 Ford Mustang to not only get the details of the vehicle, but also a range of images (second table) for that vehicle.

In the meantime, I have found the solution which is to restrict the images to those that have the same ID as the clicked on vehicle using

dmx-show="VehicleID==detailVehicle.data.VehicleID

Works like a charm as does App Connect et al.
