Depends on what do you mean by a replacement. Medium Editor is especially developed for App Connect, and cannot be used with HTML5 Data Bindings or the old server behaviors, as Advanced HTML Editor 3.

Thx for the reply. I guess I am wondering for building a cms would this be the best tool to use, or should I stick with HTML editor 3?

If you are using App Connect for your CMS then Medium Editor is the way to go.

Thx. I have app connect but haven't had the opportunity to play with it much yet, but plan on giving it a try. The medium editor seems to have less functionality (buttons/options) available compared to the advanced HTML editor 3 so I wasn't sure if the intention was for it to successor so to speak.
