Try to insert a database insert server action. The issue is that it does not load the post inputs, like on the pevious version.
Just try to delete dmxConnectLib and try again but the problem remain. When i uninstal the database updater 2 and install the previous version i don't have problems.
I don't have build a form yet ... but it's normal on the previous edition when we select database insert, the POST inputs load.


I also have the connector 2. I'm working on latest version of dreamweaver and have latest edition of windows 10

What i mean is that on Globals, the $_POST is empty after i insert a database insert

Hi Teodor. I Think there's another issue related.
The option validate data on my security login to check if username and passord are on database no longer work, On previous version it's all ok. On the new version it's always saying the login data is invalid when i try to login. When i remove it from the login server action everything works

Have you tried recreating the login step and re-saving your server action?

Can you clarify which step is giving you the issues exactly, as i just tested with:

* Database Connection
* Security Provider (dynamic/database)
* Login

And it works perfectly fine.

That is what exactly the login step does... it's really pointless putting this step before the login step.

OK, you're right. But this is the reason why on previous version i don't have problems and with the upgrade (wich costs a lot of money) i'm facing this issues? For the price we pay it's expected no problems at all

The step you are referring to is related to the form validator extension, we are going to investigate this, but you can safely remove it from your login action, it's absolutely not needed there.

Ok, thanks. One more question. Should i uninstall the previous version of DMXzone Database Updater and others?

I have issues updating records with this extension. I wrote to support department and I have not receive answer yet. I wrote on saturday. Bad customer support. I have spent a lot of money in extensions. Perhaps, no more.

If you probably explained in details what's the issue, we woul have replied to your email.
Saying "it's not working" in your email tells us nothing. It can be literally ANYTHING.

If you want to receive some help, please make sure to explain in details what exactly are you doing and what is wrong.

Emails saying "it's not working" are going to be ignored.

I explained that the problem was updating records. Inserting and deleting records from a mysql database works fine but not updating. I attach below what i wrote you:

I purchased DMXzone Connector 2 too to bypass possible compatibility issues with Updater 2 extension.

I can insert and delete records fine on mysql database but I can not update records. Previous  version (DMXzone Database Updater PHP) works fine updating records.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Updater 2 and Conector 2 but it has not solved the issue.

When I use previous versions of this two extensions, all works fine (insert, update and delete records)

Could you solve this issue? I think this is a bug.

Your email explains nothing more than " I can not update records"
No additional information about what EXACTLY are you doing in your server action, no links to a test page, no error messages provided, no screenshots provided.
What kind of help are we supposed to provide to you in this case?

There is no error messages. Nothing happens when I submit the form with the record I want to update. With previous version of Database Connnector and Updater PHP extensions works fine.

I'm not sure if you understand that we can't help you unless you provide a detailed explanation of what exactly are you doing in your server action, on your page and in the update record step.
Provide screenshots and links which we can check.
You are not really helping us resolve the issue saying " it's not working" and "nothing happens"!

Finally i found the solution for this issue. I had installed Connector 2 and Updater 2 over previous versions without uninstall them. A file called dbupdater.php was not being copied to my local site. Once copied by dreamweaver all works fine. I hope this can help ohers experiencing this issue.
