Trying to follow tutorial for multiupdate using Database Updater 2 but the tutorial indicates the need for an "id" filter which is not an option using the version "2". Can you please clarify. Also updating and clicking "save" at the end does not seem to have any effect on updating table record. I did try adding

dmx-on:success="serverconnect1.load({})"

in the form div but still no effect

Hello,
Not sure what do you mean? The filtering is done in the server action, in the update step.

I think you are correct..it just opens a different input area than what tutorial shows...How about the second part of the action needed to actually cause the save. Clicking on save at the website loaded page does not result in a save? I am using a MySQL Table. The "id" column in the table is key and set to auto increment.

Can you please confirm that the extension works on Dreamweaver 2020 and try a run test on your end? I am at the stage of may be relating this to other issues like .htaccess etc.. Thanks

What is "Site="undefined"?

<dmx-serverconnect id="serverconnect1" url="../../../dmxConnect/api/nioxupdate.php" site="undefined"></dmx-serverconnect>

- Yes, we are always testing our tools in the latest DW version and it works fine.

As for site - undefined, don't worry, that's not a problem. The "site" option is used in very different cases and it is not related to any issues you might be having.

Thanks.. Did manage to get t to work under two conditions... Mysql table can NOT have a Key Labelled as PRIMARY.. and language of table had to be set to Swedish ( my guess utf-8)
