Would it be possible to create an extension that would allow users to sort the images on a given page and save the sorted image order after dragging and dropping the image into the order desired?

Hello Lawrence,

That will be possible if you are getting images from a database with simple addition to the sql query - changeable in depends of user demand. and you can have a cookie created on the user computer that will hold the chosen sort order.

In general it can be done but "it needs more than one bird for spring to come". However we will consider your proposal.
