To send email with gmail it seems to require TLS or SSL but I am not seeing any of these options in Smart Mailer PHP. Is it possible to use a Gmail account using Smart Mailer?

Gmail requires TLS, providing the standard gmail smtp details results in the following error:

Error sending e-mail
AUTH command failed: 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first. s4sm32273025wiy.13 - gsmtp

Is there any way to invoke the STARTTLS command?
