Hi.

I've used the Dreamweaver behaviors for "next" and "previous" to control the 3D Flow Gallery by adding arrow images below the flash file. It seems to work fine in Firefox, but the nothing happens when I click on my forward and back images in Internet Explorer. Any ideas?

What DW version do you have? Are the Adobe Active Content scripts included on your page?

Could you also try to change the name of the 3D ImageFlow Gallery instance to something that starts with letters instead of only 3Dxxx (like prepend an ii before it).
You can do in the property inspector when the gallery is selected in DW. Just change the name there.

Also make sure that the gallery is not somehow included in a form control...

Those are the nasty things about IE and controling Flash applications with javascript.

Let me know if this works.

George

also change the name= of the object tag to id=
Also if there is an AC_FL_RunContent change there also the name to id in its parameters,

We just narrowed those incapability's in IE and will solve them in the next update.

Till then please bypass as described above.

George

Hi George.

I am using Dreamweaver CS3 v9 and yes I do have Adobe AC scripts on the page. Although there is a form on the page, there are no form control behaviors being used and the flash resides outside the <form> tags.

I tried changing the name via the properties inspector, but the name keeps defaulting back to the original and any changes I make will not take. Any other suggestions I can try?

Thanks

Yeah, figured that out. Works still in FF but not in IE.
