what is the best way to show the description field? I have my events shown with links but when i click on them they just open another page to the same calendar.

I would like to go to a detail page or have the description show up in an advanced tool tip or advanced layer popup.

I can see how showing the full title would be good as some get cut off. Can i show the title and the description in a tool tip?

or is there an easy way to link to the description detail page i already have setup? Just need to pass the ID in the url.

you can set a link and pass the ID of the Event by applying ##id## mask(this one was hidden option ).
Also you can use ##title## instead of ##name##.
