MM_ERROR: MySQL Error#: 1064

15 years ago Rusty Monette posted:
I can get the calendar to display but it will not display events from my table. My columns are different named then your example but I connect them all to their corresponding spots. When I try and have to program create the table I get this error:

You have an error in your SQL syntas; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '[events] ([event_id[ bigint NOT NULL IDENTITY, [event_title} varchar(250) NOT NUL' at line 1

On my computer I am using php 5.2.11 and MySQL 5.1.37 on a macpro os x 10.6 and dreamweaver cs4

Thanks

Hello Rusty,

Can you pass the file calendar_get_events#.asp located in calendar_ajax folder in your site root to my email: miro@dynamiczones.com

I emailed the page so you can see it. Let me know if there is anything else you need to get this working.

Thanks,

Tried your fix and still no luck. Still the same errors with it. I also updated it to the latest version and that didn't work either. Does this calendar only work with google? I really don't want to depend on google for events given I do not have a google account. I would like this calendar to work with php and mysql if that is possible.

What was the resolution for this, please. There appears to be a "fix" that was attempted, but that fix was not updated here. Thanks!

Hello SAM,
Please provide your settings for creating the database event feed - best as screen shot.

Hello Nick,

It seems that the feed was created with Database type not set correctly.
Please, see to recreate the calendar and the database feed and pay attention on the Database type select field in Add new feed dialog.

Regards.
