I am not looking to have a link from the event viewing page to a little form to tadd the details.

What i need is to be able to click on the times on the left side of the Day view screen and this then takes you to the add new event window automatically filling in the start time..

Anybody done this?

Hello Ian,

You can do this using the Behaviors menu in the General tab of the calendar interface.

There you can choose one of the available events and an action. For example you can set this: When a free day is clicked - Go to url, where the url is the insert event page. You can use Advanced Tooltips or DMXzone Lightbox extensions in order to enhance the users experience and open the insert/edit event page within them.

Hello Teodor,
I like this with the insert/update form in de event calander, but my question is how that works this after saving the content automatic refreshed the event calander, just like in the movie tutorials, store content with click on the button and the tool tip disappears and the event calendar are automatic refreshed.
Nice Regards,
Dick

Hi Dick,
Using the Record Update Form Wizard menu under the Data menu in your Dreamweaver, in order to create the page that you load within the tooltip, it automatically refreshes the page.

Hi Teodor,
I tried it (just like www.dmxzone.com/go?15813) and what you say.
But the update page load as a normal page in de tooltip and when I saved my text then redirect the page in the tooltip himself and the page with de event calander is not refreshd.

Dick

Hi Teodor,

I tried something else, I set the target from the update/insert page (on the form script) on
target="_top"

and now refreshd the page after insert/update.
Is that the solution?

Dick

Hello Teodor,

Ian asked about clicking the times on day view screen left side.

I tried to follow your answers but the behavior "When a free day is clicked" only works in year view and not in day view screen as Ian asked.

So my question was about if I missing something or if the behavior only works that way.

Thank you.
