I am able to establish a connection with Dreamweaver's connector, but when I try with dmxZone, I get an error:

"Error using this Database Connection!
Server Response: The handle is in the wrong state for the requested operation"

I don't know what this means, other than I can't connect.

I have re-downloaded and re-installed the extension, to no avail.
What am I doing wrong?

Please, provide details on your database type and the settings you have used in DMXzone Database Connector to connect to it.

I'm using MySQL.
I have entered the IP address, the username, database name and the password.
I would be happy to email you the login information, or I could send you the php connection file and the dmxz connection file that showed up but doesn't look complete.

Save it as info.php and upload it to your server. Then please provide the link to this file to: so I can check your configuration.

I am having the same issue as above. I emailed a few days ago to offline support and will send another email as mentioned above.

I have been unable to use this extension. I left an email with offline support a few days ago and have not received a response. I would really like some help using this extension.

I also use a program called NaviCat for db work and I am using the same connection information from that program and it makes the connection.

Is your website properly defined in Dreamweaver - is your remote/esting configured with the remote server settings in Dreamweaver?

I am still having this problem. I can't even use a connection on a new page. Very frustrating. I wish I knew what "The handle is in the wrong state for the requested operation" means.

This seems like some configuration issue on your server. Please contact your hosting provider and ask them to check what causes the error.

i have submitted a ticket like 2 times now....where is support....how do one gets answers...

i'm getting an error connecting to the databses on the server....

i have reinstalled DW and installed connector and also updater 2 and still the same error when trying to update.....i created a new site and a new dbase to test it...same thing...
