Microsoft launches Virtual Earth and whipes Apple of the map
MSN Virtual Earth is aimed at Google Maps, which added a new feature, hybrid mode, a combination between sattelite and normal maps yesterday.
The cool feature is that you can "locate yourself" using your IP address, or using an ActiveX app.
Location Finder uses the wireless access points visible to your computer to determine your location.
With the new service the user can see buildings all over the world, but at the spot where the main office of apple should be, there is a plain spot with no buildings.
