The Windows Sidebar is in Vista!
Windows Sidebar is now processed in the core of Windows Vista.
The Windows Sidebar contains a list of programs, also named gadgets. Furthermore the sidebar displays RSS-feeds. The sidebar was first displayed at the Professional Developer Conference in 2003 and was named as an important expansion on the user interface of windows Vista.
The Windows Sidebar wasn't in the December community tech preview which was reason for enough for many users to doubt if there ever was to be a Windows Sidebar in Vista.
