Windows Vista Release Candidate One Is Complete
Microsoft has finished the first release candidate of Windows Vista. The release candidate is available for testers from TechBeta and Technical Adoption Program and will be available for MSDN and Technet members this week.
According to Jim Allchin, co-president of Microsoft's Platforms & Services Division, much has changed since the second beta version that was released on June 8. The user interface has been tweaked, new drivers have been released and the performance of the operating system has improved.
