Browser Shield, the latest defence of Internet Explorer
Microsoft researchers are experimenting with framework that detects and deletes malicious code from websites that are opened by Internet Explorer.
"This can provide another layer of security, even on unpatched browsers," Helen Wang, a project leader in Microsofts Research Group said. "If a patch isn't available, a BrowserShield-enabled tool bar can be used to clean pages hosting malicious content."
