W3C: Reinventing HTML

The CEO of W3C, Sir Tim Berners-Lee has announced that it will form a new task force that will work on a new HTML-specification.

The team will be chartered to do incremental improvements to HTML, as also in parallel xHTML. It will have a different chair and staff contact. The group will work will work on HTML and xHTML together. Tim Berners-Lee says he has strong support from browser makers.
