Performance of FireFox 2 vs. Internet Explorer 7
Zimbra posted a new performance test, this time they compare FireFox 2 with Internet Explorer 7. Among the test where operations such as logging in, viewing messages, navigating around various folders, changing options, viewing contacts, and performing various calendar operations.
Firefox still beats Internet Explorer 7 when it comes to JavaScript intensive AJAX applications. However Firefox 2 has not made the same performance improvements over Firefox 1.5, as Internet Explorer 7 had over Internet Explorer 6.
