File Downloading

Question:

PLEASE HELP !!! How to download files from a form ? We have been using ASPUpload to upload files, but what about downloading of uploaded files ??

Answer:

Well when you uploaded the files to say "Upload" directory, you should also save the file names in a database.

Then you can have your files listed from the database and on each name you should generate link, to the file in the Upload directory.

So when the user clicks on the file - it gets downloaded

Sorry, but I still have problems with that. I principally would like a get a "Save As" dialogue and not the browser to open known file types. Can anybody help me?

Hi,

I have never used UltraDev. I write ASP code using a text editor. Could you please help me on how to use Fle Upload ? If I can work with this, all my problems will be solved and I am planning to buy the new version too.
