After long delays, Microsoft finally launched Windows Vista to consumers. The software giant is running a massive marketing campaign called "The Wow Is Now". Security makers and software makers alike are unleashing a wave of Vista-related products. The company also released is Office 2007 suite.
Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates hosted the worldwide launch of Windows Vista and the 2007 Microsoft Office System, check out the On-Demand Webcast.
With support for 1,5 million devices (from which 2500 are certified) and 31,000 drivers the software can run on more hardware then any other operating system, however the software support leaves much to be desired. According to ZDnet, Office 2007 is the only software package that uses the new features from the new Operating System.
Office 2007 will desire a steep learning curve because of the new interface but is easier to use, delivers more attractive documents presentations, improves task and time management, has better integration throughout the applications and a whole range of other improvements.
