Will Wikipedia disappear in three to four months?

At the Lift07 conference Florence Devouard, chairwoman of the Wikimedia Foundation, claimed that it is not impossible that Wikipedia might disappear as far as the financial resources are close to the brink. She said Wikipedia`s current funds will suffice to run its servers for about 3 to 4 months.

Although Wikipedia disappearance was denied by Ordonez, last check on Wikipedia's fundraising turns out to be $1 million, with the current total about $1.1 million. They say they need $5 million a year to sustain operations.
