Adobe: Google’s Best Kept Secret Enemy

While many sites have been talking about the battle between Adobe and Microsoft, Tom's Blog has an interesting view: "The real power struggle is actually between Adobe and Google". Although it might sound a bit far fetched he has some interesting points to backup his view.

Tom mention's the following battlefields:

• Flex vs Google Web Toolkit (GWT)
  Both are aimed at Java Programmers.
• Apollo vs Firefox (via Netscape)
  In the future, both will perform a lot of the same functionality.
• Desktop vs Nettop
  Tom's says that Google wants to replace the desktop with a NetOS.
