Ext 2.0 Beta 1 released

Ext v2.0 Beta 1 has been released. It features updated portal and desktop examples and bug fixes.

Ext is a client-side, JavaScript framework for building web applications that has a native Ext adapter, so no external libraries are required.

The big enhancements include:

• Two new sample applications:
• Web Desktop - updates to the look, code organization, desktop shortcuts and an excellent StartMenu implementation

• Portal - new shortcut classes for columns and portlets, new layout enhancements and an overall smoother API for development.
