Amazon.com Redesign
Amazon.com is redesigning the look of their homepage. The design of the site is consulted mainly by the company`s customers. The new design is in a test phase. You can get the new page by deleting your cookies and refreshing the page.

Amazon was an early user of DHTML techniques, and one of the first mega-sites to do inline popups. They decided to change their site due to the intensive growth of their resources, in order to make it easier for the customers to find items in different departments.
The the new web site focuses on shopping, searching, saving,
and buying - the most important activities of the customers according
to the company. The new design takes this to the next level with many more menus that popup when you mouseover them. Yet, nothing is removed. All users` favorite features are still there.
