Skype 3.6. released
Skype launched Skype 3.6, the new version comes with a high quality video.


New in Skype 3.6 is the
High Quality Video feature which offers improved quality, transmitting video at
640x480 pixels (VGA) at up to 30 fps. While standard video calling offers a resolution of up to 320X240 pixels (QVGA) at 15 frames per second (fps),
High Quality Video resolution is up to
four times better and the frame rate increases up to twice the speed.
This means that High Quality video calls are clearer and sharper and
you are able to see much more detail.
To use High Quality Video, you’ll need:
- The latest version of Skype for Windows.
- An optimised Logitech High Quality Video webcam.
- A computer with a dual core processor.
- A fast broadband connection.
- The latest High Quality Video webcam software.
