Winners of The Foundation Flash CS3 for Designers book competition
Thanks to the friendly people of friends of ED we had 5
copies to give away of; The Foundation Flash CS3 for Designers book. Take a look to see
the correct answer and if you're one of
the lucky winners.
The challenge was to answer the following question:
"What is the origin of "Lorem ipsum"?
The correct answer is:
"The earliest known example of its use is from an unknown type specimen produced in the 1500s. A printer jumbled up the text from Cicero's de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum, Liber Primus, sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33, and used it to show off his fonts. It stuck and has been used ever since."
All the entries were excellent, so thanks to all those who sent me an e-mail and congratulations to the winners: Andrea Gentis, Gary Bortz, Ivo Hunink, Janet Johnson and Ron Gilliam.
