Bill Gates` last day at Microsoft from CES 2008
Bill Gates gave his final Microsoft keynote at the
2008 Consumer Electronics Association show in Las Vegas.
Throughout the keynote he looked back on some of his previous experiences, noting how far we've progressed since he declared the "Digital Decade" in 2001 for three reasons:
- The promulgation of lower-cost HD displays and soon interactive surfaces.
- Mobile intelligence - cellular and GPS enabled products that help us get through the day
- Interaction with technology increasingly mirroring the way we interact with people
He presented a movie devoted to his last day at Microsoft. Celebrities like: Bono, Jay Z and George Clooney, Matthew McConaughey joined to Bill to make this funny movie.
According to the movie Bill Gates planned to stay out of the day-to day
running of the company, instead concentrating on making predictions for
the future, playing guitar with U2, starring in Speilberg movies and
throwing down some rap.
