Silverlight 2.0 released!

As promised Microsoft has released Silverlight Beta 1 during the first half of March.

Microsoft Silverlight is a cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device plug-in for delivering the next generation of .NET based media experiences and rich interactive applications for the Web.

 

The package addon for RMT release of Visual Studio 2008 includes the following features:

• Visual Basic and C# Project templates
• Intellisense and code generators for XAML
• Debugging of Silverlight applications
• Web reference support
• Integration with Expression Blend
