The 600 MHz processor enables fast switching between multiple programs, and the installed document viewer is taking care of viewing your Word and Excel files.

The LG P500 Optimus One has the standard Android browser but if you want more variety, you can download an other browser from the Android Market. The browser is doing its job quickly. This first thing you notice is that web pages are loading very clear and the device even allows multi-touch. Flash support is still missing but you get used to it. With a few taps on the screen you can share a website on a social network like Twitter and Facebook.

The
LG P500 Optimus One has two applications on the device pre-installed that keep your social networks within reach. Twitter for Android is available on the Android Market as well. Twitter can also be linked to the contact list on your device. Same thing goes for your Facebook friends who can be updated through the Facebook application and work flawless.

The customized navigation by the Universal CSS Navigation Menu extension, won't give any problems. The HTML5 Image Enhancer is used to generate a photo gallery with animated effects, and it looks perfect.

The LG P500 Optimus One is a great phone for a novice smartphone user. It appears to be a well functioning and stable developed Android phone. In addition, the device excels remarkably well in terms of stamina compared to other smartphone rivals. De camera is nice, the speed is perfect and the design is simple. A big plus is the capacitive touchscreen for a much better user experience.
