Dreamweaver/Ultradev terms

Dreamweaver (itself)

  • DW = Dreamweaver
  • DMX = Dreamweaver MX
  • DMX2004 or DMX04 = Dreamweaver MX2004
  • (the combo) DMX/MX2004 or DMX/04 = Dreamweaver MX/MX2004
  • (old) UD = Dreamweaver Ultradev

DW Server-Side stuff

  • SB = Server-Behavior
  • SBB = Server-Behavior Builder
  • RS = Recordset
  • SM or Server Model = Server-Side language (PHP,ASP,.NET,CF,JSP)
  • Conn = Connection

Web Languages

Server-Side (Server Models)

  • PHP = PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor
  • ASP & ASP.NET (or .NET) = Active Server Pages
  • CFML or CFM or CF = ColdFusion
  • JSP = Java Server Pages

  • SQL = Structured Query Language

  • FTP = File Transfer Protocal

Web Browser (popular) nicknames
