Dietrich Kappe, a Pathfinder’s CTO published a posting in which he talks about problems of the browser execution of Ajax Applications he faced with. He points out that today's browsers have difficulty keeping up with the latest Web 2.0 applications.
"Ajax and the browsers it depends on are running out of time. If the
notion spreads that it isn’t reliable, it will be as dead as the Java
Applet, never to be heard from again," says Kappe.
Mike Chambers, Adobe developer for AIR unveiled the new logo for Adobe AIR. This is the final logo and it incorporates all the main core concepts behind AIR as a branding.

Christopher Blizzard, a member of Mozilla's board plans to lower the memory use of Firefox. The browser is suffering from significant performance problems, where it used to be one of the fastest browsers it has become one of the slower ones. Mozilla developer Stuart Parmenter is researching the matter.
New Updates for Windows Vista are available via Windows Update this week. Windows Update will periodically deliver updates for Windows Vista, so that customers need not wait for a service pack or another or larger release to benefit from the ongoing improvements made to Windows.
