searchable pdf files in web page

I'm trying to find a tutorial that will let me create a web page that will have a bunch of pdf files on it. there are about 300 pdf files on various topics.I would like to create a search page so that you could type in a few key words and a results page would be displayed with a short description of what the pdf is about and a link option to download the pdf file. is this hard to do. I put a message on the dreamweaver forum and someone said that if I have all my pdf files in one area that the search will search all the pdf files becauser they are supertext. Is it just searching the title of the file or is it truly searching the whole file? any way if some one knows of a tutorial that would tell me how to do this that would be cool and the help would be muchly appreciated.

Hi, I am using Dreamweaver MX/MX2004, Access 2000/SQL Server 7 and i would like to build a content management system like DMXZone has (not as advanced - maybe 20 dynamic pages at the most), but i don't know where to start. The site a want to build it for is a tutorial website, so you can see why i want some form of content management.
