upload file object to a database

I am trying to figure out how to upload a file (images, word documents and excel files) to a database.   I don't have any issues loading the files to a directory on my server but I want to prevent file naming issues by managing the files internal to the database plus when we move the database from server to server, I want to ensure that I maintain my data integrity.

Make a Stored Procedure compatible ASP Upload Extension, to included all features such as Insert and Resize and Erase before Update/Delete.

Actually, more extensions that are Stored Procedure compatible would be nice.
