Adobe Moves Away from Apple
Adobe has posted a short response to the letter Apple boss Steve Jobs has written about Flash technology. In it, Adobe said the legal terms Apple imposed on software developers had led it to shift its focus away from Apple.
Microsoft Backups Apple on Flash Battle
A Microsoft executive pitched in later the day Steve Jobs sharply criticized Flash, saying while the ubiquity of Flash makes it easy for consumers to access video on the web, the standard has flaws. "Flash does have some issues, particularly around reliability, security and performance," said Dean Hachamovitch, general manager for the Internet Explorer browser.

In an open letter entitled "Thoughts on Flash," Jobs laid out a laundry list of complaints about the technology, raising questions about its security, "technical drawbacks," and power-management.
