Google adds a new feature called ''My Location" to Google Maps. It displays a blue dot which is used to mark your location on the map so that you'll be able to easily find the right direction to a specific exit, street or any desirable spot. You can also see the location of places, landmarks and geographical features like shops, banks and others.

OOptOut is a new Google Chrome extension which allows you to set the Facebook permissions necessary for installing any specific Facebook application. It enables users to restrict the access to their personal data that the applications require. The new extension is not yet available on Google’s Chrome Web Store.

Motorola announced the date of the Droid 4 launch only six months after releasing the Droid 3. According to the Droid life site the new phone will come out December 8 and will have a 4inch touch screen, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, DROID RAZR styling, 5-row slideout keyboard, 4G LTE, front camera for video chatting and an 8MP rear camera.
Linux Mint 12 which is based on Ubuntu 11.10 is already available for download. It includes the new Mint Gnome Shell Extensions desktop featuring, the Duck Duck Go default search engine which does not collect or share any personal information and a fork of Gnome 2 that’s compatible with Gnome 3.
Google released a new Google+ ad which includes long talks about life, people and their interests at the Thanksgiving day. It raised a lot of discussions and different comments. Some of them say that the mood was just slightly sleepy, and the the ad too long and even more intellectual.
