Hey everyone,I’m new to tennis and looking for recommendations on a good beginner-friendly racket. I want something that’s easy to handle, offers good control, and has a decent mix of power and comfort.
I don’t have a big budget but want something that will last as I improve. Are there specific brands or models you’d recommend? Also, should I go for a lighter or heavier racket as a beginner?
Any advice on string tension and grip size would also be helpful!
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Hello.
I’d recommend the Wilson Clash 100, Babolat Boost Drive, or Head Graphene 360 Instinct Lite—all great options if you're looking for the best tennis rackets for beginners, offering good power and control. Go for a lighter racket (260-290g unstrung) for easier handling. String tension around 50-55 lbs provides a good balance of power and comfort. For grip size, ensure your index finger fits between your fingers and palm when holding the racket.
