Flu’s ruining my life—chills, sore throat, and a cough that’s nonstop. Need something fast-acting ‘cause I’ve got work in two days and can’t be a wreck. Tried lozenges, but they’re too slow. What’s your quickest fix for this? How soon can I expect it to hit? I’m desperate to function again. Replies

Chills and a wrecked throat are no joke - work looming makes it worse. Lozenges are too wimpy for that flu freight train. I got slammed last fall and grabbed something from https://rompe-pecho.com/ - Rompe Pecho MAX. It’s a beast: fever drops with acetaminophen, cough chills out with dextromethorphan, and guaifenesin clears the gunk, all in a honey-herb base. Took 10 ml every 4 hours, and in 12 hours, I wasn’t shivering anymore - cough eased up too. My roommate used the CF kind for a quick nose fix - said it kicked in by night one. No alcohol, so it’s smooth, not harsh. Shake it well, down it with tea, and it moves fast. Took me three days to be work-ready, but relief started day one. You’ll be back on your feet soon-crush that deadline!
