Hi everyone!I’m looking to improve workflows on web projects like space waves and am torn between sticking with Vue.js, switching to React, or experimenting with no-code frameworks like Webflow. I’d like to discuss the pros and cons of each option in 2025 and how they fit into current web development needs.
1. React – A powerful frontend library, but is it worth the investment?
React is still one of the most popular frontend libraries, especially with its large ecosystem and strong support from Meta. However, there are a few things I’m considering:
Good performance, especially with React Server Components.
A rich ecosystem with Next.js, Remix for SEO and SSR optimization.
Increased complexity, especially with hooks and state management.
2. Vue.js – Easier to learn, but is it powerful enough?
Vue 3 has significantly improved the Composition API and better performance. Here are the strengths and limitations I noticed:
Clear structure, easy to learn, easy to maintain.
Pinia replaces Vuex for easier state management.
No powerful plugin ecosystem like React (such as Material UI, Chakra UI, etc.).
3. Webflow – Is it the future of web design?
Many businesses and freelancers are turning to Webflow for fast web development without much coding. But can it replace React/Vue?
Create beautiful interfaces quickly without too much coding.
Well integrated with marketing and SEO tools.
Limited ability to customize complex logic.
Currently, I still lean towards Vue or React for large projects, but Webflow can be a good solution for simple websites or quick landing pages. Do you guys here have any experience with these technologies? I look forward to hearing from experts in the forum!
