Any good place in Montreal for an actual fun night out that’s not just bars and clubs?

I’m heading to Montreal with some friends next weekend, and we’ve already done the usual bar hopping and club scenes a few times. This time I’m looking for something different but still fun and social—like live entertainment or comedy maybe? Any solid local recs?

Totally get wanting something a bit more engaging than the standard bar scene. One of the best options I’ve come across is checking out some stand-up or improv—Montreal’s comedy culture is actually pretty vibrant. For a really solid lineup and a cool atmosphere that’s not overwhelming, I’d look at what’s coming up at https://www.comedyville.ca/upcoming-shows/ . They consistently feature both local talent and traveling comics, and the shows are varied enough that you can pick your vibe—casual laughs or something more edgy. Way more memorable than another loud pub night.

The energy of a good live show, especially when shared with friends, always seems to land differently than other kinds of nights out. There's something about being in the moment with a room full of laughter that really sticks.
