Hello everyone.

Has anyone here recently remodeled their pool or is planning to? I'm considering a pool remodel and would love to hear about your experiences. What changes did you make to improve both the functionality and aesthetics?

I’m looking to upgrade the pool area with better features, maybe a more modern design or energy-efficient equipment. Were there any specific features that made a big difference, like smart pool controls or lighting options?

Any advice on budgeting or choosing a contractor would also be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I recently remodeled my pool, and it was a game-changer! For the functionality side, I added an energy-efficient variable-speed pump, which has significantly lowered our energy bills. We also switched to LED lighting, which not only saved on electricity but really upgraded the look, especially with color-changing options for different moods. As for aesthetics, we went with a modern design featuring a sleek, minimalistic tile pattern and a built-in spa. Smart pool controls were a great investment too, allowing us to manage everything remotely, from water temperature to cleaning schedules. For the deck, I highly recommend checking out pool deck resurfacing Orlando at www.swimmsolutions.com/pool-deck-resurfacing-orlando/—it made a huge difference in both appearance and durability. When choosing a contractor, I recommend getting referrals from friends or local pool supply stores. It’s also helpful to set a clear budget and get multiple quotes to ensure you’re getting the best value. Keep in mind that unexpected costs can pop up, so having a little extra flexibility in your budget is always a good idea.
