Guys, here's a question. How realistic is it for a business today to survive without a mobile app? Here's just an example: a friend of mine opened a coffee shop, and at first he had no app at all. Everything was sluggish, people simply forgot about his establishment. Then they made a simple app - ordering, points for purchases and pooches with promotions. After a couple months, traffic doubled, and now he's thinking about franchising. I wonder if it always works like that.Replies

Hi! I'm not from Russia myself, but I've been living here for a couple of years. We have the same story in Italy: I worked in a small bakery, and at first everything was going fine until a competitor launched an app with delivery and bonuses. Our sales sagged, and the owner realized that we needed to change something urgently. We found guys who do custom custom mobile app development, and within a couple months we had our own app. It not only brought customers back but also attracted new ones, especially students. So, yes, a mobile app is not just a “plus” but a necessity, especially if you want to stand out.

It's interesting to read stories like this. I never thought about it, but now it's clear how much technology is affecting even simple establishments. I don't own a business yet, but I guess if I ever decide to - a mobile app will be right on the priority list. Thanks for the thoughts!
