Some images in my CSS Image Gallery are showing a 401 Unauthorized error when trying to load. These images are stored in a protected directory requiring authentication, so access is restricted unless the user is logged in. I’ve been looking into what exactly causes the 401 status code and came across this article that helped clarify how server permissions and authentication affect access.

Now I’m trying to figure out the best way to configure the gallery and server so authorized users can see the images without exposing them publicly.
